Early Intervention

At Sensory World, we offer early intervention program to support young children with developmental delays.

Early intervention in developmental delay means providing therapies and support at the earliest age (infancy to around 5 years of age) when a child shows delays in motor, speech, social or cognitive milestones. Since a child’s brain is most adaptable (neuroplastic) in the early years, timely intervention can significantly improve long-term outcomes.

Early intervention is important as the first five years are a key period for brain development.

Importance of Early Intervention

– Maximizes brain development during the critical growth years.

– Improves skills in motor, speech, social, cognition and daily living.

– Reduces secondary difficulties such as behavioural issues or academic struggles.

– Supports parents with guidance and training to handle challenges.
